About Chubb
Juan Villarreal (aka Chubb) was passionate about making this world a better place. He gave freely of his time and talents to many local organizations including The Crisis Resource Center of Steele County, Big Brothers Big Sisters and From the Heart Run. Juan passed away Oct 15, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. We are working to honor Juan and continue what he started…
About the Fundraiser
Proceeds raised will benefit the “Juan Villarreal Jr. Memorial Fund”. This year’s recipients are Community Pathways of Steel County and the ISD 761 (R.A.K.) Random Acts of Kindness Scholarship. We will also be collecting donations for Let’s Smile, Inc. of Owatonna.

Vision Statement
Promote a stronger and healthier community by being a trusted resource for food, clothing, and other support.
Random Acts of Kindness
OHS Homeless Fund
As financial hardship among students has increased, so too has the number of OHS students facing housing instability. Students who qualify as Families in Transition (FIT) may experience homelessness in various forms, including living doubled up with another family, residing in a vehicle, camper, or hotel, staying in a homeless shelter, or couch surfing (i.e., moving from one friend’s house to another). In response to this growing need, many community organizations have expressed an interest in providing donations to support these students. In 2022, the Random Acts of Kindness OHS Homeless Fund was created, specifically designed to assist students in unstable housing situations. This fund is solely funded through donations from the community. These funds are allocated by School Counselors and Social Workers at Owatonna High School to support students with demonstrated financial need.

Let's Smile, Inc. of Owatonna.
